Under wich category should usually paied CAT tools that are distributed for free with limited functionality once the trial period has expired? I am thinking about tools like Memoq4free or Déjà Vu once the trial period has expired.

Memoq, Déjà VU, etc. are NOT Free Software. Those are proprietary tools. Read the definitions posted. If it is not open source, and doesn't protect the users' freedoms, it doesn't belong on this page. --http://www.baldwinlinguas.com 02:50, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
